"If you're not failing, you're not growing"
- H. Stanley Judd
In school we learn that mistakes are bad and we are punished for making them. Yet, if you look at the way humans are designed to learn, we learn by making mistakes.
We learn to walk by falling down.
If we never fell down, we would never walk.
Don't be scared to make a mess.
Don't be scared to be ridiculed at.
Don't be scared to be laughed at.
Don't be scared to be criticized.
Don't be scared to fail and make mistakes.
Successful people failed many times in their lives before they become successful.
Oprah Winfrey was fired from one of her first jobs because she was "unfit for TV."
Walt Disney was told a mouse would never work.
SIdney Poitier was told to become a dishwasher.
Oliver Stone was dropped out of school.
Steven Spielberg got rejected from film school ... three times
Stephen King received 30 rejections for "Carrie"
Michael Jordan was cut from his high school basketball team
Steve Jobs was removed from the company he started
Hugh Jackman got fried from 7-Eleven
So what are you waiting for?
Make a mess, make a miracle!
Be a better you everyday,
Maya
